Man deported 7 times arrested in Escondido

A Mexican citizen who had been deported multiple times was arrested Thursday evening by Escondido police during a routine traffic stop.

A police officer stopped a vehicle that had faulty lighting. The driver did not have identification or a driver’s license. A U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officer who works with Escondido police responded to assist the officer in identifying the driver.

The driver then identified himself as Fernando Marcos Bravo-Sanchez, 28, and said he was a citizen of Mexico, said Escondido police Lt. Chris Wynn.

A records check showed that Bravo-Sanchez had prior convictions for burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle. He had been deported seven times and voluntarily returned to Mexico three times, police said.

Bravo-Sanchez was taken into custody and was booked at the Vista Detention Facility on an immigration hold. He faces a vehicle theft charge from an earlier case, Wynn said.

    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

We need to establish a "tent city" jail for invaders such as this. If Messico has a problem with the treatment of THEIR people, then they can start footing the prison bills! Since we all know Messico doesn't care about anything to do with these people other than what $$$$ they send back to Messico, these people need to PAY for their own upkeep... ala' Sheriff Joe's tent city and chain gangs. Maybe if there were actual PENALTIES than a slap on the wrist they would stay on their side of the border!

Agree. I've said this before many times.... Sheriff Joe style TENT CITY! Putting these illegals to work cleaning up the border and building border walls. Some real penalties as you say to discourage illegal immigration not just a pat on the wrist.

    Agree wholeheartedly!

I still say put them all on Alcatraz. They can stay there, and if they try to escape, they most likely die. Let them rot on that island away from American citizens.
Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist"........

Get his theiving arse out of my country.
You cannot dedicate yourself to America unless you become in every
respect and with every purpose of your will thoroughly Americans. You
cannot become thoroughly Americans if you think of yourselves in groups. President Woodrow Wilson
