White House: Exec Amnesty Made 2014 ‘Year of Great Progress’ for ‘Progressive Agenda’

    by Tony Lee19 Dec 2014

On Friday, before President Barack Obama’s end-of-year press conference, White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer declared that Obama’s executive amnesty is one of the reasons that made 2014 a “year of great progress” for Obama “and the progressive agenda.”

“President Obama’s executive action to fix our immigration system is the most meaningful effort in decades to make the system fairer, more transparent, and more predictable,” he spun. “It is a decision with legal, economic, and moral justifications, and its implementation over the next few years will be a boon to this country for decades.”

He also cited the economy, Obamacare, and Obama’s judicial appointments and actions on climate change for making 2014 such a success for progressives.

“It turns out you can get a lot done with a pen and a phone,” Pfeiffer wrote, declaring that Obama delivered on his promise that 2014 would be a “breakthrough year for America.”

Though constitutional Americans have marked 2014 as a year of unprecedented overreach by Obama’s White House, Pfeiffer also claimed that “years from now, people will look back on 2014 as one the most significant and successful years of this historic and tremendously consequential Presidency.”

“It turns out you can get a lot done with a pen and a phone,” he said.

You know, it's amazing how these people like Dan Pfeiffer and many others in recent years have totally redefined words important in our language. The word "progressive" used to mean what it meant to Republicans, freedom, ending slavery, ensuring civil rights, higher wages, better working conditions, the 40 hour work week, big railroad projects, a new interstate highway system, a national parks system, the Environmental Protection Agency, OSHA, equal rights for women, and on and on and on, all part of the Big Tent Republican Progressive Agenda since the day the party was formed to pursue these goals.

But globalists and socialists have redefined this great word "progressive" and turned it into something to be abhorred, despised and revolted against, because it's no longer a word that describes policies and actions that help everyone, it's a word that defines the government policies that mandate and authorize the actions of stealing from one to give to another. This isn't progress, it's theft.
