ARIZONA, Mexico --- With the successful transition of several U.S. ports to a company run by the United Arab Emirates, the White House announced today that it will hire Mexico to manage the southern border.

"We are short on resources," said a White House spokesman. "Mexico needs jobs, they're right there, and it only makes sense to hire them to manage our border. This will free up our current border patrol agents to focus on the porous Canadian border. Those damn Canucks are sneaky."

I believe the article is satire but with the Bush administration you never know.

I figured as much and if it was true it would be the final nail in his Adminstration!

In all honesty, I wish people would quit writing stuff like this. The whole issue is convoluted enough without someone's sarcastic wit visited on people who may not understand it.

It's ok to write parody like this, but it can confuse people when posted here. This thread should be locked, so it doesn't stick around the front page for long.
