"Today marks a turning point. This meeting marks the end of the preseason and the beginning of the regular season. Starting soon, and heeding the wishes and expectations of the American people, Congress will begin the challenging process of overhauling U.S. immigration policy.
The wishes of 85% of the American people is to ENFORCE OUR LAWS ALREADY ON THE BOOKS. WE DO NOT WANT AMNESTY OR ANYTHNG COMPARABLE TO IT!

Every government agency that I can think of has a web site that is open to the public. Some are slow at posting "NEWS" and you can read it in the paper before they post it. Some get their "Press Releases" on site very quickly.

Looks like an impressive list but in reality they are advocating for people who can't vote.

Does anyone think an American citizen who works in these trades are going to vote for Amnesty so their jobs can be given to foreign nationals ?

So Congress Critters should be very scared IF they advocate Amnesty or for more foreign workers. They best have their plane ticket to Timbuktu cause they will never be able to go home again.

So the invitees were Big Business and Special Interest Groups.

Nope, Obama is not listening to Americans.

What was Janet Napolitano doing there? What does she have to do with this? Cannot tell me it is about her being the big head of DHS....

No transparency, not even the decency to be honest, and actually listen to the people, no it is all about the special interest groups and big business.

Time to roll up the sleeves and get ready to fight with all we have.

These special interest groups above have been profiting from illegal immigration. The police in nearly 3,000 districts with their lack of enforcement just want a paycheck? Worldly Wal-Mart boycott. Chamber of Commerce don't want E-Verify.

300,000,000 US Citizen voters were not represented at this meeting, Janet.

    Four Videos embedded at source

VIDEO: Responses to Yesterday’s White House Meeting on Immigration

For the 130 immigrant advocates, business and labor leaders, and law enforcement representatives, who met with Janet Napoitano yesterday, the urgency for real reform is clear. Here are four video responses from attendees at yesterday's White House meeting on immigration reform. I took these videos directly after the meeting, as attendees were leaving the White House.

Clarrisa Martinez, National Council of La Raza:

    Frank Sharry, America's Voice:

Art Venegas, Law Enforcement Engagement Initiative:

    Arturo Rodriguez, United Farm Workers:

    The Politco reports:

President Barack Obama on Thursday managed to undo some of the damage he did recently with immigrants’ rights advocates — who were angered when Obama said in Mexico that immigration reform would have to wait until after health care and energy bills passed Congress.

Obama dropped in on a White House meeting with more than 100 immigration reform backers — and the message, according to some who were there, was that Obama would push for immigration reform even as the health-care debate continues to unfold.
