Why Catch-and-Release Is So Dangerous: ICE Finally Deports Salvadoran Murder Suspect Released During Obama Regime

The PR people at Immigration and Customs Enforcement inadvertently demonstrated the utter folly—the madness, the insanity—of Traitor Joe Biden’s catch-and-release, a policy that his former boss, Barack Hussein Obama, also used to keep illegal aliens in the country as Great Replacers.

Agents recently deported Salvadoran murder suspect Josue Salvador Hernandez-Portillo, whom ICE arrested in 2016 but released with one its worthless “notices to appear” for an immigration hearing. Shockingly, he didn’t show up.

ICE collared him on May 18:

In October 2016, the U.S. Border Patrol arrested Hernandez-Portillo in Hidalgo, Texas, and transferred him to ICE custody at the Port Isabel Service Processing Center.

In November 2016, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services issued Hernandez-Portillo a notice to appear. In December 2016, ERO Houston released Hernandez-Portillo on a $12,000 immigration bond.

In July 2017, the government of El Salvador issued an arrest warrant for Hernandez-Portillo for the offense of aggravated homicide, and in July 2018, it issued an additional arrest warrant for the offense of deprivation of liberties.

On April 17, 2023, after failing to appear for his removal hearing, a Department of Justice immigration judge in Arlington, Virginia, ordered Hernandez-Portillo removed in absentia to El Salvador.

Forget the idiocy of using “removal hearings” to determine whether an illegal can be deported. They should be summarily deported without a hearing.

More important, Hernandez-Portillo demonstrates the insanity of releasing them at the border. Breaking our immigration law aside, we don’t know who they are!

One could be a terrorist, a bomber with plans to knock out the bridges from Virginia into Washington, D.C., or a mass shooter with plans to open fire in a public school.

Of course, Traitor Joe and the Democrats know this. That means they intend for just such a terror attack to occur. Another 9/11 would provide an excuse for another Patriot Act to expand the government’s police power. More surveillance.

More gun control. More speech restrictions on social media.

All that will help demoralize the Historic American Nation into accepting the loss of its traditional liberties as well as its dispossession and replacement.
