They were responsible for the robberies of several convenience stores in Mesa last month. Sunday, Maricopa County attorney Andrew Thomas held a press conference saying a grand jury has now indicted five of those men.

Four out of the five are illegal immigrants. Some were even deported in the past.

They are accused of violently robbing at least four stores in Mesa. P olice tell us the men were armed with handguns, they beat up some of their victims and even threatened small children.

The county attorney says this is one example of what he considers a situation where our crime rate is being directly impacted by illegal immigration.

He says that this is a pattern he continues to see, people who are not only illegal immigrants, but have been deported and coming back and committing additional crimes here. He admits that is a politically incorrect fact, but says it is a fact.

The men are called the "Zip Tie Bandits" because investigators tell us they used zip-ties to tie up their victims.

If they are caught.. bring'em to Florida... Maybe they can use the same zip ties to hook'em up to old smoky that is after they are tried by a court of law
