Why not enforce our existing immigration laws?

We already have immigration laws, why can't these dummies enforce them rather than wait for new laws that they probably won't enforce either??

Well, mass amnesty would sure take the heat of you, wouldn't Chertoff? I'm sure you're for anything that would make your job easier, but unfortunately mass amnesty would destroy the America most of us have grown very fond of! Get off your butt and start interior enforcement (do the job we tax paying citizens pay you for). If you don't have enough agents, plead to Congress for more! Don't bother crying to Bush because he has no interest in interior inforcement. In all honesty, I don't think you have an interest in true interior enforcement either.

C'mon folks - you don't really expect them to follow the laws, do you? I think if you rounded up everyone in the Administration, they couldn't come up with one whole, viable brain between them.

A kinda famous author (Robert Heinlien) once wrote - "Don't frighten a little man, he'll kill you".

We have a bunch of little men in Washington and they do threaten us regularly. This is just another one of those threats -- "we'll sit on our hands even more than we are doing now".

I take it back, we don't just have the village idiot in the White House . . . I think we have many village idiots in Washington. Woe to us who like to reason and think. Maybe you have to be brain dead to be a politician (expect Tancredo).
