Jeb Bush Demands Trump End ‘Heartless’ Child Border Policy

Jeb Bush Demands Trump End ‘Heartless’ Child Border Policy

    June 18, 2018

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is calling on President Donald Trump to end the “heartless” policy of separating immigrant children from their parents at the U.S. border.

“Children shouldn’t be used as a negotiating tool,” Bush tweeted on Monday. “@realDonaldTrump should end this heartless policy and Congress should get an immigration deal done that provides for asylum reform, border security and a path to citizenship for Dreamers.”

The failed presidential candidate’s plea came in response to President Trump’s tweet in which he vowed to stop “some of the worst criminals on earth,” from using children to illegally enter the U.S.

“Children are being used by some of the worst criminals on earth as a means to enter our country,” President Trump said. “Has anyone been looking at the Crime taking place south of the border. It is historic, with some countries the most dangerous places in the world. Not going to happen in the U.S.”

Bush joins a chorus of Republicans, such as Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse and Ohio Governor John Kasich, calling for the policy to be halted.

“Let’s get it right. We’re America,” the Ohio governor said in a video posted to Twitter last Friday. “We have a big heart. We love people. At the end of the day, we don’t want to create an image that we don’t care, because we really do.”

The Justice Department announced April 6 the implementation of a new “zero-tolerance” policy, an effort by the Trump administration to reduce illegal border crossings into the U.S.

Illegal aliens smuggling minors across the border posing as families has sharply increased more than 300 percent in the past year.

Department of Homeland Security officials say 1,995 immigrant children were separated from adults between April 19 and May 31. The children are provided with food, shelter and medical care administered by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Does anyone really care what any Bush says? I don't think so. Talk is cheap. That is all the talking heads do. They are just doing what they always do. Every time someone tries to do anything about illegal immigration they cry racism, cruelty or any other silly word they can think of to undermine any effort to stop illegal immigration. How dare these people to come over here and demand things from WE THE PEOPLE. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY AND WE ARE TIRED OF OUR LAWS AND RIGHTS BEING UNDERMINED AND IGNORED BY PEOPLE WHO DO NOT BELONG AND WHO ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!!

No, we don't, in fact most of US here at ALIPAC turned from love to hate on Bush because of his immigration and trade policies and also lying about why we invaded Iraq. Probably no President is more despised by most of us here. A betrayal by a Republican President of historical proportion.

Wow, that's rich. Illegal alien supporters, media activist and illegals have been using illegal alien children as tools for many years. How many SOB stories have we seen coming from media about those poor "immigrant" children. Furthermore, the illegals are always using their children as a reason to come and have also used them as shields from law enforcement. The word that has been filtered through the various countries for years is "bring your children and you'll be able to stay." Well, Jeff Sessions and Trump is doing their best to change that message. I'm thinking it's more Sessions, but I have to give Trump credit for not stopping him. Regardless, I'm just hoping they remain steadfast in their efforts. I'm concerned all this outrage from Democrats and Republicans alike will eventually back the Trump administration down. I certainly hope not, but we've seen it happen too many times before. Our government seldom has the will to do what is absolutely necessary to effect change when dealing with our immigration problems.

Oh don't worry, Jeb! Trump's got this, a 70 point plan to end illegal immigration and reduce legal immigration. Now go away.

I guess you can consider me the minority then. I actually liked George H. W. Bush and despite his amnesty position, I found his son, George W. Bush., to be tolerable (a hell of a lot better than Clinton before him and Obama after). As a former military man who served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm, I definitely didn't fault him for finishing his dads failed mission in dealing with Saddam. Bush Sr. should have chased Saddam all the way into Iraq and crushed him instead of stopping after driving him out of Kuwait. Yes, despite what the liberal media says, there were WMD's in Iraq.

My point, I did not despise George H. Bush. I didn't agree with his amnesty push, but I didn't despise him. Now as for Obama, I literally despised the man and thought he was the worst President dating back to at least Jimmy Carter, maybe even further.

George W. "gumby" Bush I could not stand! Turned the channel and wanted to wipe that smirk off his face!

He and his Haliburton cronies got rich off that war at the expensive of OUR blood and treasure. Another GLOBILIST!

And they should have NEVER taken out Sadaam. He kept those barbarians at bay! After they took him out it unleashed the wrath of hell on the rest of us and all this damn refugee migration dumped on all our backs! They need to be sent back too!

Jeb lost the Republican Presidential Primaries. He has no right to be making demands.
