Wisconsin Joins E-Verify RIDE; Attend a Webinar for Existing E-Verify Users

USCIS announced that Wisconsin has become the latest state to join the Records and Information from DMVs for E-Verify (RIDE) Program. RIDE is an E-Verify initiative, in conjunction with the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, linking the E-Verify system with participating state driver’s licensing agencies. Beginning Nov. 15, 2015, Wisconsin joins Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska and North Dakota in RIDE.

RIDE allows E-Verify to validate the authenticity of driver’s licenses and state identification cards presented by employees as Form I-9 identity documents. RIDE helps to reduce document fraud and boost the accuracy of employment eligibility verification in E-Verify. For more details, see Driver’s License Verification and the RIDE Wisconsin Fact Sheet.

RIDE and other recent E-Verify enhancements will be discussed during the “E-Verify for Existing Users” webinar on Monday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. Eastern time (ET), and Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. ET. Visit our website www.uscis.gov/E-Verify, for the full schedule of E-Verify and Form I-9 webinars.

Give your feedback about E-Verify on E-Verify Listens.
