Woman Caught Trying to Smuggle 15 Illegal Immigrants

LA JOYA – A woman is accused of smuggling 15 illegal immigrants and leading police on a chase in La Joya.

Police tried pulling over the driver of a Chevy truck early this morning. After a short chase, the driver stopped near Palm and Ebony Drive. Police say everyone bailed out of the vehicle.

Fifteen people were taken into custody. One passenger got away.
