    BROWNSVILLE — U.S. and Mexican authorities continue to investigate an undocumented immigrant’s allegations that a Cameron County deputy constable punched her and subjected her to racial and sexual slurs, officials said.

    Mexican Consulate representatives in Brownsville said they have turned the woman’s complaints over to attorneys for review, said Immigrant Protection Consul Luis Chao Pratt.

    “The rights granted by the U.S. Constitution apply to all, regardless of their citizenship or their immigration status,â€

    Uh, huh. Making a play for a cash payoff I suspect. Or for an instant green card because of cruelty. I'd be very interested in what the deputy's dash mounted camera shows.
