There needs to be greater awareness of economic alternatives
Very few if any politicians who favor our side have made public statements regarding avenues the families with members on both sides of the border can do to improve the lot of relatives without breaking our laws.
Using the Mexicans situation as an example not singling them out it is like this. The average income of the Mexicans in Mexico is 1.86 an hour for illegal aliens it is $9.00 an hour. The cost of living index is lower in Mexico than it is here. Were constructive steps made toward family ownership of productive assets family living standards would rise enough to cause more Mexicans to want to remain where they are. It is not our duty it is the responsibility of their families to help them out but American political leaders can point out those programs which effectively do this.

Our movements Mexican American members could lead by example.I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
