    A deadly bubble?

Richard Hoagland is a scientist who has been a long term critic of secrecy and fraud at NASA.

In this interview, Hoagland talks about the discovery of a massive gas bubble associated with the BP well.

Have I verified this information? No.

What I do know is this:

    1. The mainstream new media is focusing on the leak at the drill site and ignoring the oil-leaking fissures surrounding the drill site.

    2. They're also ignoring the presence of vast quantities of toxic gas that are being released along with the crude oil.

    3. The government and BP, with a big assist from the news media, lie like they breathe.

Morning Must Reads — BP touts upside of deal with Obama

Wall Street Journal — BP Softens Political Hit

Writer Jonathan Weisman tells us what BP got out of the deal with President Obama that has the company creating a $20 billion fund to be disbursed by the government, handing out $100 million to pay competitors’ workers idled by the new Obama moratorium on drilling and forgoing its stock dividend.

Hoping to show investors that the company is viable, BP insiders and some in the administration tell Weisman what the pro quo BP gets for laying out all that quid. Mostly, it’s promises of future protections and agreements on where liability lines will be drawn.

(My column for today on the administration’s good fortune in drawing a corporate adversary already well versed in the tenets of Obamanomics is here)

The details of the negotiations, led on BP’s part by former Clinton Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick — she of the wall between domestic and foreign intelligence so lamented after 9/11 and the $26 million Fannie Mae directorship – are most interesting.

We heard before about Obama “popping in and outâ€

How can we connect such seemingly disparate issues as the horrendous oil gusher in the Gulf, the machinations of Codex Alimentarius and other international agencies and our Health Freedom?

Certainly we are watching (and from which we are suffering!) the failure of large bureaucracies to meet significant human needs. As free person we have the right to live our own lives, making our own decisions, without trespass and oppression. This is the fundamental right of self-sovereignty for which progressive people have struggled for the past half millennium. And the cause of personal autonomy has had many stellar victories: the abolition of chattel slavery throughout the world, the emancipation of women, the end of state-controlled religion in at least the western world. However, with the growth of national and international bureaucracies in recent decades, many of those hard-won freedoms are being eroded.

It is certainly true that we are losing our personal autonomy when it comes to the choices we can make about what gets into our own bodies. Whether it’s toxins permitted by FDA in the food supply, as part of that agency’s HARMonization with Codex excess permissiveness, or whether it is the Federal agency that failed to follow-up on BP 139 safety violations (when their next nearest competitor had only … these bureaucracies are failing. Clearly BP’s corporate bureaucracy failed and dozens died; millions are being hurt. Perhaps billions of us will be subjected to the toxic overload created by this catastrophe and the botched clean-up, with its added load of toxins. We are all at risk, no matter how far from the Gulf we may live.

We therefore offer you a possible explanation, from a Yahoo Groups posting by RK Moore: June 19, 2010
