I think the problem is "the rising middle class" syndrome. As you can see from the video we've got so many experts, consultants. talking heads, administrators, etc. who REALLY PRODUCE NO DIRECT VALUE YET WANT BIG SALARIES!! This is a state of affairs in American society that has arisen since World War 2 and the GI Bill. And the only way that we can keep propping up this army of do-nothings is by importing a bunch of cheap Third World laborers to actually do something.

I couldn't agree more. So many people are one pay check away from a financial disaster and there is not much they can do about it.
