How to post photos and videos instructions and tips.

How to post a photo ... in a few easy steps

    1. Place your mouse over the picture you want to post.

    2. Right click your mouse

    3. Look at the menu .. the last entry ..at least on Windows XP is "Properties" .. right click on "properties"

    4. A window appears with various information regarding the photo ... what you want is the Address (URL)

    5. Use your mouse to highlight the URL only .. example ...http://wwwi.reuters.com/images/w148/amdf906166.jpg

    6. control + c to copy the URL

    7. paste the URL into the ALIPAC posting screen

    8. highlight the URL with your mouse by running the mouse pointer over the address .. when highlighted it will show up with a blue background

    9. click on the "Img" box above .. this will code the URL as an image

    10. post .. your picture should appear

    Tips

    1. Try to keep your photo descriptions brief and to the point.

    2. Feel Free to create new categories for photos.

    3. Try to watch out for duplicates if you can.

    4. Same rules that apply to our entire forum apply to the posting of photos.

    5. Try to size your pictures to be viewed in just one screen.

Your own personal pictures? If that's what you mean, you have to upload them to a progam like an HP image upload program that converts them to url's http format.

    Does that answer your question?

Try clicking on the option in "my pictures" that says "publish to the web" .. don't know what kind of program you have.

I upload mine with HP software.

Just go and host it and then choose the correct option

You have to upload the pictures to an online storage, like photobucket.com. It will copy pictures from your computer files to an online file, then you post the URL on Alipac.
