Viva Zapata leader of the Mexican Revolution 1910-1913. The other one reminds me a lot of a Che Chavara political poster and of course the hooded terrorist on the horse with M16. Yes I would say this is a political statement to over throw the USA.

That next to last picture is obviously not some historical hero or anything, it is an agrandizement of any present or future warriors who take up arms against... what?

The way I know this is not intended to be a historical personality is simply.. that is the front sight of an M-16 (even though the barrel length is out of scale) slung over his shoulder. I do not think Pancho or Che had any of those available to them.

Maybe it could represent the future fighters trying to spread "la reconquista"?

I dont know that much about Mexico's military but I do know that the German G3A3 rifle is standard issue, but that some special forces and paramilitary units have access to M-16's and various other American weapons. The drug lords and their private forces no doubt have M-16's as well as the usual AK-47's and the like. And that fellow on the horse is probably not regular forces, look at the hat and the scarf covering his face .... it looks like one of the hats that the communist Chinese wear. I would say hes a guerilla of some sort, either past or present.

The guy in the mural with the pipe is a Zapatista commander nick named "carlos" I believe. He is all over the place...turning into a folk hero of sorts.
