She's American first - with wisdom, individuality, and raised by the kind of black parents I was raised with - just like ALL GOOD CARING parents only black, hence, good parents who GUIDED THEIR CHILDREN to MATURITY instilling in them the ability to BE INDIVIDUALS capable of successfully standing on their own.
