If you think this isnt the result of a flood of Illegal labor that also need housing... pushing up home prices to non-sustainable levels.. you better think again.

If it hasnt happened to you yet.... get ready, it's only a matter of time

I have dial-up, so watching the video right now is long. Are these Americans?

If so, this is definitely a result of affordable housing and also a loss of jobs. I do not see how anyone could not see that.

I think that most of us are simply just one paycheck away from being this, or worse (many of us do not even have the means to own a travel trailer in which to live in otherwise). Rents up here, just about 10 years ago, used to be around $400.00 for a moderate duplex, now the same one would potentially cost you upwards to $1000.00.

The real estate market here is becoming simply unaffordable to the average blue collar worker, with prices at a quarter of a million, and up, the only potential option is to hope one can get something through HUD, and that means to be inner city, and usually in the worst of neighborhoods. Otherwise, affordable rentals are heavily sub-standard, and laden with safety (gangs, drug deals, place falling apart) and health problems (black mold, leaking sewer pipes, roach infestations, rats).
