Thousands rally in Mexico City, Sunday, April 13, 2008

Thousands of supporters of former presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador attend a rally at the main Zocalo plaza in Mexico City, Sunday, April 13, 2008. Obrador continued his call for national protests against any government attempt to privatize the state-run oil company Pemex. (AP Photo/Gregory Bull)

If only they would protest against their corrupt government on all the issues causing them to migrate north.

Former presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has never recognized Calderon's presidency. Fox turned over presidential powers to Calderon in a midnight ceremony. Last Thursday the Leftists took over Mexico's congress by essentially mob rule.

Between the Leftist opposition, the drug cartels and the massive government corruption, Mexico is dangerous for tourists due to the 'war-like' atmosphere. Does Calderon even have control of the government?

[quote]Leftist lawmakers took over both chambers of Mexico's Congress on Thursday to protest President Felipe Calderón's energy reform bill.
Lawmakers of the Democratic Revolution Party stormed the podiums and forced a recess in both the Senate and lower house of Congress at about 1 p.m. (2 p.m. EDT, 1800 GMT). Some donned oil worker hard hats and shouted, “The country is not for sale!â€

    Obrador is a Communist.

The good thing about him, would be that he would make the illegals stay home.

Why aren't Laraza, mecha, maldef, lulac in Mexico helping him overthrow Calderon??? They WANT a socialist state, so how come they're not helping the poor mexican people?

Wait, could it be, perhaps, there's no profit to be made if all illegal mexicans go home?

Last May I asked some of my Hispanic friends why they didn't march in Mexico for their rights instead of in our streets. I was told that if they tried it in Mexico they would be shot or put in jail. What changed?
