[b]A FIGHTER jet swoops just a few feet above the waves after roaring under San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge during an air show.

The war plane, flown by a pilot from display team the Blue Angels, stunned onlookers with its low-level fly-by.

A witness said: “The planes left everybody in awe. It looked as if they would hit something on the water. People in boats must have been terrified.â€
