    I think . . .

    These politicians have done the math. Their minions have calculated the gains vs. the losses for making such statements to special interest groups. They know such statements will:

    1. secure the support of the group to whom they are speaking in person, people who actually believe such statements are right and just.

    2. enrage a few activists who are paying attention to their man-pleasing, favor-currying remarks that betray the trust that We The People have imparted to them.

    3. be safely ignored by the MSM and the voting population at large.

    4. neither waken the masses from sleep nor divert their attention from Desperate Housewives.

    Politicians expect that, after a few moments of derision and contempt from immigration law enforcement advocates,
    they will get away with it.
    And past experience bears this out.
    One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

    Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
    tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

    The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!
