Video: SaveOurState leader attacked at protest.

    Patriots:

On Saturday, June 17th, Save Our State members participating in a
protest/rally in Los Angeles were attacked by our rabid opposition. To
view the video, please go to the following link. You will also be able to
read the various other accounts of the events that transpired.

On video, we see the Los Angeles Police Department arresting the attacker.
We will keep you updated on the status of this arrest. (Video courtesy of

We are constantly referred to as racists, bigots, violent vigilantes, etc.
Yet, time and time again, it is our opponents who resort to violence and
temper tantrums. I am thankful to be surrounded by a group of hardcore
Americans who are willing to risk personal injury to protect the
    sovereignty of this great nation.

City of San Bernardino Illegal Immigration Relief Act

The Save San Bernardino campaign continues to build momentum. One of the
goals of this initiative was to simply provide a template or a model with
which local governments could empower themselves to tackle the illegal
immigration issue. Although I have received communications from local
elected officials, until now, there has not been any concrete movement to
adopt ordinances similar to the Save San Bernardino initiative.

However, Mayor Lou Barletta of Hazelton, Pennsylvania, took the courageous
step and is backing an ordinance that is nearly identical to the San
Bernardino initiative. On Thursday, the Hazelton City Council voted 4-1
to adopt the ordinance. Law requires three readings of the bill, and we
anticipate passage by the city council on July 13th. This is a watershed
event in the illegal immigration debate as it marks the first time local
governments have taken such dramatic steps to confront the illegal
immigration problem at the local level.

In other related news, Armando "Race Pimp" Navarro convened a strategy
session in San Bernardino today. His much heralded mobilization only
managed to draw 30 participants. To read more about this development,

At current, the City Council has flagrantly violated the City Charter and
refused to set an election date since an elections attorney put forth a
weak argument suggesting that we did not gather the requisite number of
signatures. No case was cited nor was a meritorious argument presented.
Needless to say, with a Council and a Mayor staunchly opposed to this
effort, it wasn't a surprise to see the Council refuse to set an election
date under the guise of "legal uncertainty".

The City Attorney has filed a Petition for Declaratory Relief requesting a
judge to determine whether or not the proper rules were followed. We
    believe we will be victorious.

The opposition will file a brief on Monday stating their legal arguments
and the City will respond on Wednesday. The judge will hear the arguments
on Friday and we are cautiously optimistic that he will rule in our favor.

Josh Denhalter, the student who was discriminated against by Jurupa Valley
Unified School District and who Save Our State rallied to support is being
represented by Lively and Ackerman in his suit against the district. Save
Our State is very proud that it was able to assist Denhalter in organizing
and supporting his rally, press coverage, etc. He is a fantastic young
American who will be entering the Marine Corps in short order. To read
more about his lawsuit, please view the following link:

He was also featured on Lou Dobbs this week and you can view that clip

I notice they always go after old men or women. I guarantee they wouldn't attack me. Cowardly.

Had read about their rally going to LA and we almost went since my husband has a motorcycle but with company here now plus it would have been a long drive we decided against it. Those Save Our State people are heroes in my eyes. Hard to find real heroes nowadays. I will send them a donation at least and do have their site as one of my 'favorites' I check frequently.
    Thanks for the post W.
