Also, Re: Wal-Mart... I have a Costco in town and have to say that in just about every way, they beat out Wal-Mart every time. I know someone relatively high-up in a local Costco and she can attest to the fact that corporate responsibility is big with them (benefits are fairly generous, pay decently - for retail work, etc). Although I'm sure they aren't perfect, they are a much better than WM.
