NC Legislator:

Poll after poll, with few exceptions, shows that North Carolinians want more done to control illegal immigration (80-90%). These polls are consistent with national polls.

Bills that could help alleviate North Carolina's illegal immigration crisis are not being heard in committee yet as the crossover deadline approaches. Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is encouraging citizens across the state to let YOU know how they feel.

Will the legislature allow these bills to die without ever being heard in committee? Will we wait till next year when another 20-80 thousand indigent illegal aliens have set up shop in NC before acting? Will you wait till our hospitals, state budget, local law enforcement, and schools are to far gone to save?

North Carolinians do not want licenses to be given to illegal aliens anymore. We continue to give out thousands of licenses to illegal aliens today in our state. The majority of our legal citizens also want our voter registration files protected from illegals and our state budget to be protected.

NC should follow the lead of AL, FL, and other states by allowing state and local police to enforce immigration laws. Charlotte has done this and local officials say it is the reason the murder rate has been cut in half in that city.

Many of our lawmakers do not even know who MS-13 and SUR-13 are although these gangs are setting up shop all across North Carolina (Charlotte, Durham, Wilmington, Asheville, Greenville, Rocky Mt., Oxford, Zebulon, etc...) In large parts of Central America and parts of America it is these gangs and not the local lawmakers and police that call the shots.

Please take action today to make sure that the following bills are heard in committee and make it to the floor.
