    Congress. org - voter ID

    ELECTION INTEGRITY OR POLL TAX?
Congress votes on a bill to demand voters show government ID in order to vote. Republicans say this will ensure integrity of the vote. Democrats say the elderly and poor must pay for IDs which is the same as having to pay to vote. Tell Congress your views:
I support voter ID at the polls
I oppose voter ID at the polls

Another bill that the Republicans pushed through the House, despite the Democrats attempt at stopping it! Geez, I can't imagine what will happen if the Democrats take control of the House and the Senate this fall. If that nightmare happens, expect the 110th Congress to pass a host of illegal friendly legislation!

We're sort of between a rock and a hard place as voters. While I'd love to see any illegal friendly Republican get voted out of the House and Senate, I'd hate to lose the House or Senate to a Democrat majority. Unfortunately, it has been predicted that the Democrats have a better chance of taking the House. Personally, if it came to a choice, I'd rather lose the Senate vice the House. The House is the only thing that stopped the Senates attempt at passing S. 2611. We must keep the Republican House majority!

The Democrats act so concerned about the poor and elderly
having to "pay to vote", but they have no problem extracting
tax money from them for everything they own, purchase, or try
    to save.
