Not safer. Because our border is still not secure. There are more terrorist then ever and they hate us even more since we went into Iraq.
Less safer, also, because more drugs, more illegal alien criminal are here and probable more terrorist.

After 9-11 we should have went after the problems we have here. If our immigration laws were in the hands of a competent justice department they never could have happened in the manor they did.
Instead we send a bunch of control freaks over to push around a third world country and try an spoon feed them democracy.
The only thing they have done is make our borders even easier for people to breach.
So just what happened to the department heads that didn't do their duty and uphold our laws in regards to the Hijackers. Has anyone been held accountable?
This whole thing stinks.
The whole story cries out to be thoroughly investigated. I don't believe anything is as it appears on the surface or has been sold to us!!!!!
Now we have all of our troops burned out pushing around third world countries and thinking they are hot manure. We are going to be in world of hurt if we don't back off and get back to basics.
One of those basics was Freedom.
Sure we TALK about freedom but can't a whole separate country be allowed to make it's own choices good or bad without us sticking our cruise missiles into their business.
We have no borders.
We have no elections. Unless you count the ones where we are allowed to pick one of the candidates that has been bought and paid for.
If the law is outside of the law, just where is it that we stand?
