A poll indicates Britons are optimistic about their lives but far less positive about the state of their country.
The YouGov poll of more than 1,900 people found that 40 percent of Britons described 2006 as a good year for them, while 24 percent described the year as bad, The Times of London reported Sunday.
However, 55 percent of respondents said 2006 had been a bad year for Britain in general and a mere 7 percent said it was good. Additionally, 62 percent of respondents said the country as a whole had gotten worse over the course of the year, while only 11 percent said it improved.
A total 60 percent of those polled cited rudeness and bad language as everyday causes of the nation's decline in quality. Other popular responses were telemarketing, inconsiderate use of cell phones, ugly buildings and the music played in stores and shopping centers.
On the national stage, 47 percent of respondents said immigration was their largest day-to-day concern, and 44 percent said it was antisocial behavior.

Britian, especially England has big time immigration problems. Just look at who they let into the country. The have lots of Muslims who scream discrimination due to their religion. Some of them are sympathizers with Osama's group. Then there are other immigrants who are still involved with their cause back home as well.
In Canada it was bad. They have terrorists who still fight for their cause back home such as the Sieks and the Indian government, and Sri Lanka and the Tamils to name two. There are also lots of Muslims and some of them are also sympathizers with Osama as well. In fact there have some terrorists arrested in Canada.
Germany has lots of trouble now as well due to the Turks that were on a guest worker program and never left.
These are just a few examples of what can or will happen when the government isn't vigilent about who the admit in the country.

Yes good examples of what has become of England and Canada, and sadly I don't think America is far behind if it doesn't wake up to the facts.
