It’s about time to wrap up last week’s poll on DREAM Act. There’s been intense debate at The Issue over the proposal to give legal status to undocumented students who have been here at least five years and complete at least two years of college or military service.
Of 282 poll respondents,
71 percent said they opposed the DREAM Act
27 percent support the bill
1 percent of respondents had no opinion
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he will bring the bill back for debate by mid-November. We’ll keep you posted.
