    Austin's sanctuary city policy has brought drugs, crime to everyday citizens, this vote to boycott AZ is simply more liberal hysteria, the law is about "crime", not color, wake up Austin leaders your moving in direction of California and you can see how there policy has worked.

    The Austin City Council took steps against Arizona and its recently passed immigration law. In a unanimous vote Thursday, the council passed a resolution to ban travel and business ties with Arizona unless it’s related to public health or safety.

    “This is not something that we believe is right for Texas or any part of the country," said Austin Mayor Pro-Tem Mike Martinez. “We don’t believe that potentially discriminatory practices are something we want to engage in.â€

    I am totally ashamed of Rick 'the lying' Perry and the City of Austin.

    I am totally ashamed of KVUE news and their deceitful and irresponsible reporting about the AZ law.

    I watched the morning news and they spoke of the KVUE online poll banning biz with Arizona... the reporter sounded like she was insulted that 90% opposed the city's actions.

    Do you think the City of Austin should end all city business with the State of Arizona?

    * Yes
    10% (111)
    * No
    90% (949)

    Immediately after this story was another about how 20 to 30 pickup trucks are stolen each month in Austin, the seats ripped out and driven to the border and loaded up with 20 to 30 illegals and transported to Austin.

    Connect the dots people!!!!

    It's common knowledge illegals work for the city of Austin and state. When the new Toll Road 183A was opened a few years ago TXDOT was on the news BRAGGING about how they saved so much money employing 'immigrants'.... well, where's the savings in the tolls????

    Last year, my buddies Dodge Ram P/U was stolen from Chaparral Ice rink. They stripped out the back seat. It was used to smuggle illegals here.
