Requiring proof of eligibility to appear on the state's presidential ballot and cracking down on illegals - two great acts for the Arizona legislature 48% (1041)

I love how Arizona has taken the bull by the horns - other border states should follow suit 35% (750)

Somebody has to enforce this nation's immigration laws - the federal government is supposed to but doesn't 10% (221)

I could see how Obama wouldn't be pleased with any law that might require one to show proof of citizenship 4% (86)

Obama will find some federal judge to declare it unconstitutional 1% (19)

The problem with laws like this is they open the door to government controlling more than the originally targeted group 0% (9)

    Other 0% (6)

Illegal immigration is a problem far larger that any single state can deal with 0% (5)

Tell me just who is it that is demanding comphrensive immigration reform. It sure as hell is not me that believes the immigrarion laws are to lax already. could it be those that are protesting the enforcement of laws that have worked well for numerous decades? the one that are comming illegally maybe? these people would not be here protesting if those laws had been enforced correctly for several decades. Let everyone leave that has come here illegally for the last several decades and see what effect that would have on the individual state budgets. California is what 29 billion dollars in the hole and they still refuse to admit why? the cost of several million illegal aliens for several decades is the reason. Arizona can now bring its budget into line. the drain on our respources for 460 thousand illegals is now history, the money those 460 thousand illegals were sending out of the country will now stay here. Mexico will have to find its foreign aid from somewhere else. the two hundred billion dollars a year taken out of the US economy will help americans now. the 400 billion dollars in resources will not be poured down the drain any longer. and just look at how this will help the job market for americans. 460 thousand new jobs added to the american economy in just one state. what a jobs program. we might even be able to get rid of the telephone message press one for english.
