We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works

I'm beginning to wonder about the worth of these polls...the only ones the MSN ever show are the ones that support the aliens.

It is sad that there is enough going on that this station has a page dedicated to Border Security.

Great post. I lived in El Paso. I am surprised that a high percentage are concerned about illegal immigration. El Paso is over the 70% Hispanic, so that means a lot of Hispanic American Citizens don't like the situation either.

That's for sure and it is pretty irritating, MustangJo.

    But I'll keep on voting.

The site that had the El Paso poll had an article on the U.S. border patrol training border guards for Estonia. That's a former Soviet bloc country. Having our border patrol train them is a little like having Don Knox teach Mike Tyson to box.

I have also lived in El Paso!
Hispanics are almost 85% of population.
Great scenic city; is like a hometown. People are friendly and welcoming.
However, if one is not bilingual, he can have difficulty in getting a job.
That said, most mexican-americans are very glad to be on this side of the border. Crossing over into the city of Juarez explains why they feel this way.
