Poll: Nevadans back Arizona-style immigration law

Poll: Nevadans back Arizona-style immigration law

    The Associated Press

    LAS VEGAS

A statewide poll shows that support has grown in Nevada for an Arizona-style law targeting illegal immigrants.

The poll, conducted for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and KLAS-TV, shows 63 percent of Nevadans surveyed support such a law.

That's up from an early June poll that found 57 percent favored bringing such a law to Nevada.

The latest poll found Nevada Democrats were evenly split on the issue, with 44 percent for the law, 44 percent against it and 12 percent undecided.

The poll also shows 65 percent opposed the Obama administration's decision to file a lawsuit over Arizona's law.

The telephone poll of 625 registered voters was conducted Monday through Wednesday by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research. The results have a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

Yes we do but with the libs running this state and all the casino money backing letting in more illegals , there is a fat chance that it will ever happen here.

This is the closest thing to a modern day slave state

    Dump Reid
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
