Maryland Driver's Licenses proof in US legally.
Should Maryland join all but three other holdout states and comply with the federal Real ID law, which requires driver's license applicants to prove they are in the United States legally?

Indeed they have been. Hope Maryland really thinks this one through.
Big boon for criminals and underage drinkers. Make up some fake ID, buy a fake utility or rent bill on any corner and get a Maryland license. Heck, why stop at one? Get two or more, live it up!
