Thread: POLL QUESTION: Do you believe President Bush is dumb?

Even though I don't agree with the President on a couple of important subjects like immigration... I don't think he's stupid.

With that said, nearly every day I'm stuck in a discussion with someone who is telling me that President Bush is dumb.

That's why this poll is so interesting.

What do you think? Is he dumb or is that just what the Democrats us to undermind him?

No.....I don't think he's dumb at all. Whether it be the war or Illegal immigration or any other topic.....he has an agenda and is plugging away. Unfortunatly he doesn't seem to think we have the right or the intellegence to know what that agenda is and our thoughts on the issue are nothing. That's the rub. He's forgetting that it's not HIS agenda he should be pushing.....it's the American people.

You got it, he is not dumb, he just thinks he knows best and is going push his agenda come hell and high water, treating us like children unable to understand what is best for us! You do not become the leader of the country because you are just dumb and lucky, that is a stupid, also a dangerous way of thinking.

He is not dumb at all and should not be underestimated. He is counting on the American people being dumb.

Are you kidding? this guy is real smart. I'll tell you why I say that and before anyone answers, take a moment to think about what I am saying. This guy is very clever, look what he has done to this country, and all right under our noses, in fact he is so arrogant about fooling the American people that he actually flonts it in the face of Americans. He by passed everyone on The so called SPP (North American Union)including the American people .This is a very dangerous man. And he is good at deciet. Just look at the country. Is it being destroyed methodically? You bet it is. This all started , I think years ago, and every thing that has happened in this country has all been by design. Look at Nafta and Cafta. We the american people bought his story about why all this was needed. Even then, I think there were some Americans who were not fooled tho. And all these safty measures. We fell for it when the president said we need to take some of your rights away in order to protect the American people, hence we have the patriot act. The problem with the Patriot Act is that in my veiw it only affects Americans. We didn't do 9/11, yet we lost rights. Of course , FOR OUR SAFTY. Now they talk about putting chips under our skin, again FOR OUR SAFTY ( They already do it to animals. Now , I 've heard there is a volentary program goin on in Florida. I don't know that to be fact, but it scares the hell out of me. And trust me , alot of you will fall for the trickery, because the goverment knows AMERICANS WANT TO FEEL SAFE. The argument to do it will be, if a child has dissappeared we can find that child right away, through GPS tracking. And mothers and fathers will fall hook line and sinker, they will rush down to have it implanted. Thinking to keep their children safe, as for adults, for your own safty your need this chip, we will have all your medical records on it in case your hurt etc.All they will have to do is scan it. . Well, I say no way. I'll just take my chances, even with my kid. No chip for me and mine. I wait for the lord God Almighty, the great defender

No, I really don't believe bush is "dumb". Rather, I feel he is very shrewd, albeit, at times, very inarticulate when it comes to thinking on "his feet". I really believe President Bush is actually playing to an agenda of corporate greed and big business. For example, look at the National Labor Board agenda in disenfranchising the American worker and the destruction of labor unions. The illegal immigration issue is just part and parcel of the destruction of American soverienty.
