POLL: Should President Obama begin to push for major changes
Should President Obama begin to push for major changes to the immigration system this year?
The New York Times reports that Obama plans to begin addressing immigration policy sometime this year, including looking for a path for illegal immigrants to become legal.
Question
No, it would be politically disastrous given the state of the economy
Yes, the system is a mess and now is as good a time as any
I'm not sure

Maybe but the alternative is to allow the pro-illegal alien advocats to have a voice in the poll while we remain silent. It's a loaded question. Trick Question
Yes, Obama needs to see to it that our immigration laws are enforced........that would be a change we would all enjoy! Smile.
With that being said, given the way the question was formatted, I would answer no, so there would be no question that I oppose Amnesty in any way, shape or form.

After reading the response comments it seems like a huge majority of those voting 'YES' still don't support an illegal alien amnesty. Mayday is right, this is definitely a loaded poll that is designed to purposely split the vote to make amnesty support appear to be stronger than it is."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

Put a poll up that includes the question, "Should we have comprehensive Immigration Reform that includes mandatory use of E Verigy, and deportation for those here illegally, with no excuses. Guessing we could get 70 percent on that one.

With sixteen thousand votes cast, this poll is saying that 64.8% of people are saying NO and that is on a very liberal network like MSNBC!
