    It was hard to vote yes on that. I want the border secure and the illeglas delt with now! I don't want them to continue to throw out anchors and I want the benefits stopped.

    In truth, I don't know how to reply to this. Because it is pretty obvious that the attempts made so far are doing nothing to stop the generation of anchor babies.

    We have 55 national guardsmen flipping burgers and making kool aid on the border for the Border Patrol who seem to be sitting at their desks instead of obstructing the flow of illegal aliens or deporting very many of them. We have a lame duck congress holding the border hostage while they kiss the royal asses of the president and a few of his cronies for whatever reason.

    Frankly, I'm thinking that every US citizen is going to have to go stand on the border to stop the invasion if we don't do something soon. I read an article this morning that said they are going to start "talking" again next month! Meanwhile, they voted in billions of dollars for "emergency appropriation funds" for soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan who would be far more cost effective here in their own country and do a lot more good.

    I voted yes but I'm not sure I mean it.

    I'm convinced it will take a massive peaceful march on Washington, or the border by millions of Americans in order to get the attention we deserve from our elected officials instead of pandering to a small group.

    Even though the House of Reps is still holding strong to 4437, (I am grateful for the House standing firm on this issue)I am concerned why speaker Hastert has delay it to "hear the voice of the American people."
    This issue is in the news every day. If Hastert spent 1 hour looking at FAIR, The American Resistance, Alipac, The Minuteman, Vdare websites, it would be more than obvious what the American people want. Does Congress not consider the Zogby polls which show an overwhelming majority of American people already in support of the 4437 bill and against any kind of amnesty?

    I just hope its not a ploy to squeak past election time and cave in to the Senate. I know that sounds paranoid, but considering our government's past track record, who can blame us?

    If any of the other websites I mentioned above would organize a national "Day for the American Citizen Day" I would certainly be there no matter what. We cannot let this country fall.
    President Bush's lack of effort to control our borders, and also to merge the 3 countries together should be considered an act of TREASON.

    Obviously our elected officials have forgotten this statement from the Declaration of Independance in which they all took oaths to uphold.

    You are all right, but i think there is a more larger complot against the american people. Have you ever notice how the media treats all this issue not only immigration but the hole issue? I think is everything related, the road from Mexico to Canada, The Amnesty, Social security for illegal alliens (retroactive), NAFTA, CAFTA, and even the war is a way to distract attention in order to supress the nationality of this country.
