    From a technical standpoint, it would be easier to do than building a fence. Just turn the Army Corps of Engineers loose.

    Interesting idea...I live in CA so don't know much about the Rio Grande. Im wondering what the environmental impact would be. (For the animals/plants-not the citizens)

    Who Cares? Don’t start with the ECO stuff. The only impact that matters; it stops the flow of illegal aliens. Any negative effect there may be doesn’t even come close to the damage being done by the illegals. In fact it most likely will be a positive for the ECO freaks.

    I knew someone would take the bait and flame me for that.

    I was looking at it from the viewpoint of all the Red Tape that would have to be gone thru to get this done BECAUSE of the EcoFreaks.
