Thirty-five percent of Americans feel that first priority should be given to legal immigration applicants who have U.S. resident family members — according to a nationwide Qualtrics survey.

Qualtrics survey software, a leader in the market research industry scanned all 50 states on the subject of immigration. The results showed 68 percent of respondents favor deportation as an answer to illegal immigration — with family, then employability being the priority criteria for their legal counterparts.

The survey showed 28 percent of respondents feel employability should be given the most weight in a potential immigrant’s application for residency, with 26 percent favoring a first-come-first-served policy. Most respondents — 35 percent — felt family relationships should determine priority status.

I could be true but hard to believe. If this is true, someone please tell me why so many americans are voting the Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John McCain and Rudy Giuliani. They are all pro-illegal aliens and keep saying they cannot deport 12-20 million illegal aliens already here.

I think majority of Americans do not support Clinton, Obama and the other ilk. The problem is that the media refuses to really bring up the immigration issue. Another problem is how important the issue is to the person. For example, I am concerned about frivolous law suits, but it will not be a deciding factor in my vote. Part of me wonders if the majority of voters are uninformed and try to go with the status quo. You know the ones, the ones arguing Clinton vs Obama. They have been baited into that argument and never have any real substance to add to the debate.

I'll guarantee you the results of this survey will be mostly ignored by the MSM during their discussions of illegal immigration.

I think alot of people are going to vote Democrat no matter what because they are so mad at Bush. Their main goal is to get the Republicans out of the White house. Little do they know that Ron Paul wants to get out of Iraq and stop illegal immigration. They just want to vote for the party not the individual canidate.
