    Ethnic studies should be totally banned, IMO. If you study Mexico, then you also need to study ancient Greece or Rome to be able to put things into perspective, along with ancient Mayas and Aztecs. It sounds like the ethnic studies emphasize the importance of one culture and tradition over another.
