Zogby Tracking: McCain Leads Romney
From Iowa (bad) to New Hampshire (possibly worse):
Zogby Tracking: McCain Leads Romney
Friday, January 4, 2008 9:14 AM
Republican John McCain has leapt into first place in the GOP primary race in New Hampshire, while Clinton holds on to a six-point edge in the first three-day Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby telephone tracking poll of likely voters shows.
McCain’s lead is based on strength of support among moderates and independents, while Romney holds his own in what is, like Iowa, a two-man contest at this point in the GOP contest. Among moderates, McCain wins 53% support compared to 24% for Romney—and little significant support for anyone else on the GOP side. Among mainline conservatives, the two are evenly matched with Romney winning 32% and McCain winning 31%. Among self-described “very conservativeâ€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I can see where ZOGBY loyalties lay!!!! After listening to them talk on the radio yesterday, I will never believe another of their political polls.

Okay, either the people in IA & NH are complete fools, or the zogby polls are bogus. I'm hoping it's the latter of the two because I can't believe that mclamebrain mccain has 52% in NH, and NH is claiming illegal immigration is one of their top issues.
What the hell is goin' on in these two states? MCCAIN? ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS?"Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

Does it seem like the fix is in on the Republican side. The fix to nominate either Huckabee or mcCain. is the fix coming from the Republican elite's or the CFR elite's (or are they both one and the same)?

I think polls are another campaign means used to influence voters.
Politics has been said to be the second oldest profession. I believe it bears a close resemblance to the first."Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

Well, the news isn't all bad.
Let me add a couple of points worth considering -
1. They have Huckster as a distant third. That, folks, is NOT bad news.
2. I was driving down the road just now and managed to catch an NPR (TOTN) program and Neil Conan had a guest talking specifically about the polls/strategy in NH. She was saying that the situation there is likely to be VERY different than what happened in Iowa. This, she attributed to the fact that NH has 'same-day' registration and a lot of Undeclareds and Independents.
3. To cheer up the RP folks, she also said she expected him to do even better there (NH) than in Iowa.
4. Zogby is one of the better polling firms out there. As far as I know, they don't engage in push-polling. So, the research and methodologies are probably reasonably reliable. The bigger question is in interpreting the shifts - especially for the Reps - up at the top of the list. Remember, that McCain has invested a significant amount of time in NH (compared to Iowa). Romney is right on his heels being just a couple percentage points behind. It's possible, Romney may walk away a winner - especially if the Independents/Undeclared/'Undecideds' that haven't decided already shun McCain and go for Romney on election day.
Don't give up the ship!

Zogby Polls are quite reliable. They released a poll 24 hours before the Iowa caucuses that correctly predicted Huckabee and Obama as the winners.

Sorry, but I can't believe this is a REAL poll. McCain doesn't just rise from the dead and start leading Romney. This guy has no chances of getting elected anymore than Kennedy! He lost all support when he wanted to GIVE OUR COUNTRY AWAY TO INVADERS!
