Proposal in Texas for a Public-Private Toll Road System Raises an Outcry

TXDOT's arrogance on the TTC is mind-boggling. Last month in a meeting outside of Houston (Waller, TX to be exact), the acting director told everyone these roads are not going to Mexico - they stop in Laredo & Brownsville. Every Texas I know is fighting this. Unfortunately, Texas Legislature meets only every other year and until Rick Perry is out of office, this will not go away.
To stand in silence when they should be protesting makes cowards out of men. Abraham Lincoln
