[Watch] Stun Drone Unveiled, Ready For American Skies and Americans

Chaotic Moon Studios, of Austin TX showed off their latest offering at the SXSW convention in the Texas capitol city where they are based.
It’ called CUPID, an acronym which stands for Chaotic Unmanned Personal Intercept Drone. It is also called a “stun copter,” and is capable of delivering 80,000 volts to a hapless lawbreaker, intruder or other person deemed to be worthy of a particular brand of special attention.
The copter features a camera which can be used to transmit video to a remote location where the decision of an appropriate action is to be made. If a determination is made that the correct response is an electrically charged one, taser darts can be fired from the copter to the suspect, resulting in the now-familiar incapacitation.
The copter can hover, continuing to administer electrical charges as commanded by the remote administrator.
While the unit displayed is a prototype, the development has reached the point where the product is ready for the security or law enforcement market.
While the developer, Chaotic Moon declares their intention is to have a positive impact on the human race, this is an ominous next step. One can easily envisions a fleet of these being dispatched to break up a crowd of unruly patriots who are intent on expressing their dissatisfaction with the latest tyrannical act undertaken by their government.
Sorry, Chaotic Moon. Flying armed robots shooting electric darts at unknown civilians is probably not a positive development for mankind. Rather than chaotic, this is a tool of submission and the maintenance of orderly control. That is not something that we celebrate in America.
