FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ―

Two Fort Lauderdale residents have been sentenced to prison for sex trafficking of a minor.

David Pierre, 34, pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 120 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release as a sex offender.

Jenna Linden, 24, received 60 months in prison and three years supervised release as a sex offender in exchange for her guilty plea.

Jeffrey H. Sloman, Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, and Anthony V. Mangione, Special Agent in Charge, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Investigations, made the announcement Tuesday. The Homestead Police Department, Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Broward County Sheriff's Office, and the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, also assisted in the investigation.

Pierre was founding operating and advertising his business, a prostitution ring disguised as an escort service, on the internet. He ran the ring from his Fort Lauderdale home.

Linden assisted Pierre to transport the underage victims to customers throughout the south Florida area.

An ICE-led investigation began in November 2008 after a 14-year-old victim of the escort service Pierre ran was rescued in Fort Lauderdale. Shortly after, a 16-year-old victim was discovered.

Anyone with information regarding suspected child predators or abuse is encouraged to call the ICE toll-free hotline at 1-866-347-2423. The hotline is staffed 24/7.
