What is the role of religion and the church in government? This is undoubtedly a sensitive subject for many. In America, the “separation of church and stateâ€

Just as there are three branches of government, each providing a check or balance on the other two, religion is the peoples check and balance on it's government. Morality , faith and the values of a society should be the reins with which a government of the people is guided. Lack of true leadership within the churches today have cast down those reins and set the very course of government and it's peoples future on an unpredictable course subject to the indiscriminate hazards of the road.
Religion and education determine the moral fiber and self determination of society. Ours has been failed miserably on both accounts.
