    LOS ANGELES -- The 7-Eleven convenience store chain is planning to lease up to 600 new locations in Southern California, a move that would double its presence in the region.

    The company hired commercial real estate broker CB Richard Ellis on Thursday and began scouting locations for a planned seven-year expansion.

    7-Eleven currently operates 800 stores from San Luis Obispo County to the Mexico border.

    7-Eleven, a Dallas unit of Tokyo-based Seven & I Holdings Co., said that by launching so many stores in the middle of a crushing real estate downturn it will save millions of dollars on rent.

    I wish all American would REFUSE to pay their taxes on April 15th.

    Our lousy government isn't worth paying a salary to.
    Not to mention no one will be able too.

    The Kenyan is giving all our money to other countries and hoarding the rest.
    That's why the Stimulus is NOT being spent.
    He hoarding oil too I bet.
