Considering the amount of people in this country, let alone this world who are going hungry, that is a sad thing to know about.
I think it was in Florida, a man who started a "food bank" where he was able to get legislation passed in order to be able to freely accept restaurant donations at the end of each day, freeze it and/or immediately distribute it to people in need (a "Good Samaritan" law).
Wish all states would allow that, it is such a shame to know restaurant and store owners are willing to, but prevented from offering perfectly good food to the hungry.“In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. I totally agree AE - and yet the government allows tainted food from China into the US and doesn't seem to worry about that. There is no logic to this at all!
