President Obama's approval rating has dropped to 41 percent, a majority of Americans disapprove of his handling of foreign policy issues, he has lost support from the Hispanic community and Americans actually think his administration is less competent than the Bush White House post-Hurricane Katrina, according to a new survey from the Wall Street Journal and NBC News.

In short, the poll is nothing but bad news for the president.
The survey would appear to be so bad, in fact, that NBC News' Chuck Todd said Tuesday that the poll basically means the public has declared the Obama presidency to be over.
"This poll is a disaster for the president," Todd said. "You look at the presidency here: Lowest job rating, tied for the lowest; lowest on foreign policy. His administration is seen as less competent than the Bush administration, post-Katrina."
"On the issue of do you believe he can still lead? A majority believe no. Essentially the public is saying your presidency is over," Todd added.

How 41% of Americans can still support this liar-in-chief is beyond me. Obama should be in prison for crimes committed against America. Chuck Todd and his cohorts in the media should be held accountable (FIRED) for enabling and covering up for Obama and his corrupt administration.
The presidency is over but don't count on Obama stopping his maniacal destruction of America-- his ego is still firing on all cylinders.
Obama is still aided and abetted by the media at every opportunity. Otherwise his approval rating would be below 10%.
The dems and rinos in Congress are still his lapdogs. Other than a few tea party conservatives no one is willing to oppose him with any vigor.
just a couple of the thousands of comments; by the way, his approval rating is in the low teens... no where near the generous 41 percent

NBC Host Says Obama Presidency is Over: Americans Have Lost Faith in His Leadership

By Steve Straub On June 18, 2014 · Leave a Comment · In US, Video

NBC White House correspondent Chuck Todd described the latest NBC/WSJ poll as a disaster for the President. Todd says that with numbers this low the public is essentially telling Obama his Presidency is over.

Based on the results of this new poll the Wall Street Journal observed:
The latest Journal poll of 1,000 adults, conducted between Wednesday and Sunday, highlights what appears to be a lasting slide in the president’s public image. Respondents split in half on whether the Obama administration is competent, lower marks than Americans gave former President George W. Bush‘s administration in 2006, after the war in Iraq and the bungled response to Hurricane Katrina derailed his presidency
Americans seem to be losing faith in Mr. Obama’s ability to accomplish his goals, with 54% of those polled saying they no longer feel the president “is able to lead the country and get the job done,” compared with the 42% who said he could. And 41% said his administration’s performance has gotten worse over the past year, compared with the 15% who noted improvement.
Obama’s overall job approval rating remained at 41% , while approval of his handling of foreign policy hit a new low of 37%. Chuck Todd claims that spells trouble for the President:
“This poll is a disaster for the president. What’s interesting about it is it’s not a disaster for the President. I’ll separate that out in a minute You look at the presidency here: lowest job rating, tied for the lowest; lowest on foreign policy. His administration is seen as less competent than the Bush administration, post-Katrina.”
“And then on the issue of do you believe he can still lead? And a majority says not. The public is essentially saying your Presidency is over with numbers like that.”

Given what we’ve seen over the past 5 years, what most surprising to me about this new poll, is that 41% still approve of his performance. Do you agree?

Obama Hits Record High Disapproval Rating

    Written By : Ashley Herzog

Is he still trying to blame all of his failings on Bush? Obama’s disapproval rating recently hit a record high.

55 percent of Americans now disapprove of the job Obama is doing, breaking the previous record high set in August 2011.

Obama’s approval-disapproval has trended downward quickly from just two days ago on June 13 when he stood at 43% approval to 51% disapproval–an 8 point spread.
Heading in to this weekend Iraq was in danger of being overrun by the Sunni terrorist group ISIS; the IRS informed the House Friday afternoon that it had allegedly lost two years of emails by IRS scandal figure Lois Lerner; U.S. Border Patrol agents were sounding the alarm about Obama’s anarchy on the southern border and the fallout from Obama’s trade with the Taliban of five senior terrorists for the Army deserter Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was till reverberating.

I think the Bergdahl issue has hurt him the most, although the disaster on the border and the mess in Iraq certainly doesn’t help. It’s been a bad spring for Obama.

New Poll Is A Disaster For Obama

By Brett LoGiurato 14 hours ago

    AP

President Barack Obama has seen support for his foreign policy plummet to an all-time low, according to a new Wall Street Journal-NBC poll released Wednesday.
According to the poll, just 37% of respondents said they approved of Obama's handling of foreign-policy issues, an all-time low. Meanwhile, 57% said they disapproved, an all-time high.
And the foreign-policy approval rating for Obama might be artificially high. The poll was conducted before the crisis in Iraq — a situation for which Obama has been roundly criticized — bubbled up and grabbed international attention.
Obama's handling of international events have earned him criticism over the past few months — from the crisis in Ukraine to his administration's decision to execute a prisoner swap to free U.S. Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five Taliban-affiliated prisoners from the Guantanamo Bay military prison.
According to the poll, 44% of respondents said the administration should not have made the exchange, compared with 30% who supported it.
Some other highlights from the poll:

    • Obama's overall approval rating sits at just 41%, tying an all-time low.
    • His approval rating on handling the economy also sits at 41%, down 1 percentage point from last month. It's the same number from March.
    • Obama's favorability rating is underwater — 41% said they view him positively, while 45% see him in a negative light.
    • When asked their predictions on the rest of Obama's term in office, 54% said they thought he "cannot lead and get the job done," compared with only 42% who said the opposite.
    • Over the last 12 months, 41% of respondents said their views of the Obama administration have "gotten worse." Only 15% said they have "gotten better."

Obama's declining popularity threatens to drag down Democrats in the 2014 midterm elections. By a 10-point margin, more people said their vote this November will be to "send a signal of opposition to Obama." (41% said their vote will not be a signal to Obama either way.) On the generic congressional ballot, 35% said they would vote for a Democratic candidate in their district, compared with 30% who chose a theoretical Republican candidate.

Chuck Todd weighs in on the WSJ/NBC poll: ‘Your Presidency Is Over’

By: Joshua Cook Jun 19, 2014

The U.S. controlled media can no longer spin President Obama’s record. NBC News White House correspondent Chuck Todd gave his thoughts on the Morning Joe show regarding the blistering poll on Obama’s performance.
“This poll is a disaster for the president,” Todd said. “You look at the presidency here: lowest job rating, tied for the lowest; lowest on foreign policy. His administration is seen as less competent than the Bush administration, post-Katrina.”
“Then on the issue of do you believe you can still lead, and a majority believe not,” Todd continued. “Essentially the public is saying, ‘Your presidency is over’ by saying a number like that. 54% saying he no longer has the ability to lead and solve problems. That’s one of those things, you’re sitting at the White House going, ‘Oh, Wow.’”

Todd continued, “Foreign policy really has, I think, entrapped them.”
