    The more extreme Reconquistas go much further and claim Mexico is the legitimate succesor of all of Spain's claims and as such if it were not for Jackson and Napoleon it would have the Oregon Territory, the Louisiana Purchase, and the Florida peninsula as well.

    Wasn't Spain (excluding American Indians) here before Mexico and didn't Mexico declare it's independence from Spain?

    Who controls Mexico now? Mexicans of European descent, who are working and doing quite well for themselves. Who are the ones who DON"T want to work in Mexico and "encouraged" to leave by sneaking into the US for all the freebies they can get?
