The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now in Houston and six other cities are planning to stage civil-disobedience protests to prevent deputies from evicting residents who have fallen behind on their mortgages.
Ginny Goldman, head organizer for ACORN in Texas, said the group already has 100 volunteers ready to mobilize the day after a homeowner gets a 24-hour notice of eviction. She said the supporters will send a message saying: “Please don’t remove these people’s furniture. Please don’t evict this family. We are here to support them. They don’t deserve to be thrown out in the street.â€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

So can all Americans take six months off from mortgage payments and payoff some other debts. Boy wouldn't this be a nice break.

This may sound a bit harsh but I cannot find much sympathy for Sarah Chavez. It appears that she took on a mortgage with the future intention of flipping this house. Why else would anyone take on a note with a 50% increase at any period in time during the life of the note.
At the same time I have no sympathy for the predatory lenders and if they lose their shirts all the better.
2 lessons wrapped up in one mess. This is why we are here and why we have a socialistic @!%#&@ president. Rampant greed which many did not partake in, yet they will suffer as well.
