    Just For Fun......

Ever wondered what a dollar bill could tell us.....places it's been, experiences it's had, how far it's traveled.....if it could talk?

Well, there's a way it can. Sort of!!

Today my oldest son and his uncle went for haircuts and stopped for lunch on the way home. In his change, my son received back a dollar bill on which was a message about tracking his bill and the site:

    http://www.wheresgeorge.com/

This is a family friendly site devoted to being able to track money on it's journey and adventures around town, your state, across the country, and even around the world!

You register for an account (first name, email, create password), enter some basic information about the bill, zip code and:

"If the dollar bill you enter has been entered here before, you will get back a list of all the cities/states where that bill has been, as well as travel time, distance and speed of each hop!

If this dollar bill has not been entered before, you started the list!"

It really looks like a fun little site, complete with forum and store, and they encourage leaving a short message when registering your bill describing how you came into possession of it, what condition it's in, things like that.

We're going to use this as one of my son's homeschooling projects this year.

    Enjoy!!

We home-schooled for 6 years until our schedules would no longer support it and our kids were entered into the school system. Sounds like a great project, azwreath, good luck with that and have fun!
